Problems with EC and DBSS

Lately, there were a lot of bad publicity for DBSS. Following are a list of issues from the past few years. I only provide 1 link for each project, there are tons of articles in the internet.

RiverParc Residence (EC) - RiverParc Residence penthouse owners face rusty stairs, leaks

Sewage stench, rusty staircases and water seepage.

The Canopy (EC) - Shoddy workmanship at new Yishun EC shocks some residents

Scratches on glass surfaces, cracks, uneven flooring, paint stains, poorly plastered walls and water-damaged tiles, etc.

A resident found an empty cigarette carton and a plastic bag stuffed below the bathtub.

The Premiere @ Tampines - Minor defects common in new flats

We had cracked parquet floor, scratched tiles and wardrobes, leaky toilets, cracked walls and non-waterproof yard. When it rains, water seeps through the walls, wetting the corridor and front doors .

Tiny worms crawling up the kitchen pipes. Mouldy pipes and  waterproof material worn out.

Centrale 8 - Gripes over finishes, fittings in DBSS flats at Centrale 8

Burst water pipe caused water to seep into her bedroom flooring and wall.

2 different colour tones for flooring.
